Has anyone ever used a NYC Private Chef Company? I Just had a party and I had a company called Nineteen C cook for it, They did an amazing 7 course tasting menu the food was creative and delicious. I was just wondering if anyone has used them or any other private chef companies in NYC. I think there website is ww.19-c.com

Good place to host a 30th birthday party for wife in NYC, about 20-30 people? It can be a restaurant or private space or something. Something on the nicer/cooler end of things. If it’s a restaurant it must have a "special" area for this, i.e. TAO has that windowed room. Taking all ideas to look into!!! I’m not pressed for time so not worried about booking a specific date. Thanks!
Here are a few places to consider….
* Latitude Bar and Lounge-great lounge where you can have an area specifically for your party. They have a rooftop bar, so if your wife’s b-day is in the Summer that’d be nice.
* Katwalk-another lounge. If you book early enough, you could get exclusive use of the upstairs just for your party.
* Fat Black Pussycat–fun place, fun times.
* Remi Restaurant–Italian restaurant that accomodate your party with a private room with a separate entrance.
* Hill Country–great bbq where you can have the whole downstairs for your party and eat, drink and even do karaoke.
* The Campbell Apartment at Grand Central is a cool place to have a party.
* Churrascaria Plataforma is a great Brazilian bbq place that’s all you can eat.
* Spice Market–you can get your own private alcove.
* Blue Water Grill–I believe you can get the private bank vault for a party of your size
* Blue Smoke–they actually offer an all you can eat menu for parties and have 2 private areas for parties.
* Cibo–Italian that has two dining areas. For private parties, they usually give you one completely to yourself.

I am having a bachelorette party for a friend, and we would like to rent a private room in a bar for a couple hours. Are there any places here in the city that would be nice for that–by the way, we have to accomodate a male stripper as well, so the room needs to really be private.
